The Warning join Ep. 5 of Maggie Lindemann’s SWIXXZ Presents
Nearly a year ago, Maggie Lindemann’s company SWIXXZ debuted a new series called SWIXXZ Presents in collaboration with AltPress. Today, another episode has arrived.
Hosted by Demi Ramos, the series casts a bright light on the artists in Lindemann’s orbit that spans music, comedy, sports, the arts, and beyond. For its fifth episode, Ramos caught up with the Warning — a sister trio that morphed from viral cover artists to hard-rock mainstays — backstage at Whisky a Go Go in LA to celebrate the arrival of their fourth album, Keep Me Fed. Prior to their release show soundcheck, they delve into their beginnings as cover artists, keeping a DIY mentality, and their unshakable connection as siblings. “The sister bond that we have is so important to us, and I feel like that’s what represents us as a band,” Daniela Villarreal says.
“It’s very easy to lose yourself in between the opportunities,” Paulina Villarreal adds. “When you have an understanding and you’re working with your sisters — the people who’d literally do anything for you and just want the best for you — it really motivates you to keep working hard.”
